Selling here a Xeon E5345 Quad Core processor running at 2.33Ghz. I bought it for a Poweredge 1900 server, only to discover that the machine is a first generation version that doesn't support Quad CPUs.

Looking for €50. Registered postage at buyers expense, or can meet between Blanch and Fairview most weekday evenings.

@aboubaker: Don't see why not - I had an older Q6600 in my last PC and it worked fine with BF3 but it also depends on your video card, RAM, motherboard and so on too. Might be worth doing some googling online for benchmarks too though.

@ghauri01: If the board supports Socket LGA771 then it should be ok *BUT THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE*. As per my original ad above, please verify compatibility with your system before you buy as I can't be responsible if it doesn't work afterwards.

If a Google search isn't coming back with any results, I'd suggest contacting the motherboard manufacturer to check this.
