1986 Aria Pro-2 RSB Cat Bass - Matsumoku, Japan

Description:

Japanese made bass, picked it up recently as an interim replacement for another bass I've sold. This Aria is a really nice bass but I'm interested in something more like a Peavey Cirrus.

Unfortunately I don't have a camera to take pictures with, but it's in great condition considering its age and identical to the one in the picture. 200 is the trade price and I think it's fair.

I'm interested in trades for basses only, no amps or guitars. I'd definitely consider a Peavey Cirrus, perhaps a Squier Classic Vibe Precision, or maybe another vintage Japanese bass. I'm mainly interested in esoteric brands so no offers of Epiphone, Vintage or Squier basses please (unless a Classic Vibe, as mentioned).

Any interest in the Charvel fretless in my adds?
dearmondM75 2 years ago
@Buxcorp: You've some nice gear there and I'm honestly very tempted. I've never actually played fretless before though. How do you find it?
Buxcorp 2 years ago
I'm not a bass player really.. I moonlight as one when i'm recording something! It's fine as long as your used to it I suppose, You really have to nail it just over the fret marks to hit the note, but then thats the guitar player in me talking! The actual real bass players will roll their fingers as in a kind of sideways vibrato if you know what I mean! Sounds cool though, had no problems with it and have had it for 6 months.. Used a few times but not as much as I would of liked..

@Buxcorp: Yeah same, bass player solely on the side. I'm a big Jaco/Weather Report fan though so this has piqued my interest. Would you be up for a trade so?
Buxcorp 2 years ago
Yeah sure man, A friend of mine had one of your basses many moons ago and I always liked them.. Jaco was something else alright! Will send you a PM and see what we can arrange.

Ibanez Jet King JTK30H in my ads?
dearmondM75 2 years ago
@Hotrats: Hey, that's a great offer but unfortunately I'm in the process of trading this for buxcorp's Charvel fretless. If it falls through I'll definitely consider that.

No worries, sure get back to me if you change your mind.

Hi there, would you have any interest in a Spector Performer 4 for trade? Really nice bass with emg ssd pick ups?
Thanks.
dearmondM75 2 years ago
Hi, thanks for the offer but this will likely be traded for buxcorp's Charvel within the next week or so.
montec 2 years ago
No problem at all, but if it falls through you might consider my offer.
Thanks.
