Senior Financial Controller

We are currently recruiting a Senior Financial Controller located close to City Centre, for Irish subsidiary of pan-European manufacturing group. Our client is a rapidly growing group with ambitious growth plans both organically and through acquisition and is a market leader in its sector. JK110.
The Role:
•Management of the finance function
•Meeting Group monthly reporting deadlines for flash results and month end reporting pack to PLC requirements
•Working closely with the commercial management team and the operations director in the effecient running of the business
•Management of the subsidiary balance sheet to meet group ratios and cashflow targets
•Ensure financial systems are fully updated and fit for purpose
•Motivate and manage finance function staff effeciently
The Person:
•Fully qualified accountant, with at least 3-5 years financial control experience in a deadline driven finance function
•Experience in the management of finance staff and systems to meet company information deadlines and targets
•Commercial understanding of accounts in order to fully support the business needs
•Experience with supporting operations and being part of commercial decision making, including bringing new commercial ideas to the management team
•Experience in managing cash flow and meeting cash targets
•Experience in meeting group reporting deadlines and familiarity with group reporting packages to PLC standard
•Training in a large accountancy firm audit department would be an advantage, but not essential for the right candidate
•Must demonstrate high energy and enthuasism to run a finance function in a rapidly changing environment
