I have proof of purchase via online bank statement if that's of any use. As it was bought in Argos there's no returns policy as it was stated at the time of buying.

It's one dead pixel therefore it's not covered. Most manufacturers will require at least three dead pixels in the same place before they will replace. It was bought in Argos when they said there was no comeback hence why I've chucked the receipt. I've already offered to show a screenshot of the transaction going through my bank account. What more can I do?

Your offer is declined. Selling price is set knowing that people will look to lowball. Considering the time and money spent on fuel trying to source I don't think what I'll accept for it to be that unreasonable. If you see what I've accepted for touchpad as profiteering so be it, I see it as me covering the cost and fuel outlay.

Mods: I'll take this ad down as I didn't know about the rule. When I add in fuel costs trying to source the thing and time spent looking I felt what I I'd have accepted to be fair.
