As far as I know the box is the same as the Mk 1 pajero 2.4.
I think the 2.8 gearbox will do the job as well,you might have to exchange the bell housing.
If your converting an auto to Manual you might need to change the injector pump.
Kilcock breakers have a few 2.4/5 ( same engine)
