I have the lens since Jan 1st and have never used it. No longer have Canon camera to test for any dust effect. Sorry!

what was thought to be a dust speck inside UV filter, now appears to be located between 1st & 2nd elements. :( Other than that, it is a brilliant condition lens. Down graded condition and open to serious offers as a result.
