I should add that there was no connection between the suspension work and the damage ... it was simply a wear and tear issue

Damaged occurred in my underground car park when backing out of a space one morning (not concentrating) I hit a pillar ... it was a glancing blow so the damage was more superficial. But like I said in the thread it will need a new wing if you can't live with it, there is no way to fix the existing wing according to the few garages to whom I spoke.

I've been driving it for well over a year with the dented wing putting up around 8000 miles. The car recently passed its NCT without a hitch so there are no tracking issues. Indeed at its most recent service they also replaced part of the front suspension.

I have pretty much every receipt for work performed on the car since buying it ... so you will have a full view of its history.
