Description (updated on 15/05/2011 at 03:26pm):

Im selling a 5" touchscreen for FSX. The device is powered by usb. It connects to FSX and gives you access to all the controls by touch.
You can control:
Radios
Engines
Flaps
Lights
Autopilot
GPS
and many more

The display always shows your speed, heading and altitude.
GPWS- Ground positioning warning system
When tuned into an ILS the device calls out altitudes on your descent through its built in speakers.

This makes FSX really come to life as you have all the controls at your fingertips. No more using the mouse.

Comes with a desk stand as can be seen in the main pic.

No swaps
Paypal or bank transfer please.

This is a rare and reluctant sale.

Bump. It would cost 335 euro to buy flight panels to cover all the instruments that this device covers, and it takes up very little room on the desk. Also panels would not include a GPWS.

Would this work for Lockon Flaming Cliffs or the new DCS A10-c ?

I think it would just work with FSX and most probably Flight when released.

Hi bandit, does this work on USB alone or does it require a free VGA port?
Is it simtouch 'lite' or 'plus' software (i.e does it have mapping)?
What's the resolution of the screen?

I'll provisionally offer asking of €110 (depending on above answers) if you include registered post in the price.

Hi Steve.
It works on USB alone, no other ports or power needed.
It does not include mapping.
I have no idea what resolution the device is but it is
perfect for what it is doing.
Any buyer will have to cover postage. Im in no rush to sell
this and unless I get asking + postage I will be keeping it.

Hi bandit,
Thanks for the reply, I've been trying to find one of these online somewhere (to read the full specs etc) but all I can find is the simtouch software without any hardware - any links you have to where it can be found new would be fantastic.

I'm guessing that registered post would cost about €10 (http://postage.anpost.ie/weight.asp?country=IE)

My previous offer still stands.

It cannot be found new. Simtouch sold these for a short while but now concentrate solely on software presumably as it is a lot easier logistically to sell software by electronic download compared to selling a hardware software package.
