Crannac Arm Chair Mid Century


Beautiful Mid-century crannac 3A arm-chair, fantastic frame condition the wood is afromosia comes complete with the crannac manufacturers made in Ireland stamp. Recently reupholstered in beautiful stylish Scandinavia grey fabric & new perelli seat straps.

Overall condition is excellent & priced to reflect this fabulous condition.

From 1959 to 1963 a small company in Navan Co. Meath was designing Mid Century Modern furniture of an exceptionally high standard. The company was John Hogg & Co Ltd trading as Crannac Furniture and the man responsible for most of the designs was Arthur Edwards. He went on to design furniture for Gomme Ltd of G Plan fame.

@RAWHCE I just reupholstered & replaced the straps, the wood was waxed, it’s in mint condition, no marks & shop solid, I’m hoping for 300e min. Cheers

Hello, I'm afraid the photo in The Irish Times got the wrong chair in their photograph. This is the Crannac Model A chair. An excellent piece of Irish furniture.

Thats it. The chair is the model A chair and the 3A is the 3 seater sofa of the same model. Love these great pieces...
