Screenprint Flatbed Vacuum Press

Free to take away as I have to move out of my studio by end June.

Must collect, heavy piece, will need helpers to move it.

This is a sceenprinting press with vacuum to hold your paper or flat substrates in place as you print your art works and editions. I got this from a Kilkenny Print Studio when they closed over covid but I have not had the space to set it up and wire up all the electrics. It was working perfectly for a members studio when I collected it and all the parts are sitting on top of the press in the photos.

This would be a really valuable addition to your set up if you want to do more screenprinting, even if you dont have an exposure system it will work great for monoprint editions. It will fit in garages or small studios. Vacuum systems are vital in screenprint editioning as holding your paper in place will eliminate 'valleys', the marks made when paper sticks to your screen when not held down. It also helps you to register multi layer prints, keeping everything in place.

The maximum size for your screen is (outer screen size) 80 x 100cm.
