Battery charger for vehicles: for 6/12v car, motorcycle, motorhome, van, marine and lawnmower lead free batteries.
Rated output: 8 amp, voltage rating input: 230v ~ 50hz.
Charge rate gauge, complete with 13amp plug and crocodile clips. Ce approved.
Double insulated, thermal overload protection, reverse polarity protection.
Please note: that this charger should not be used to re-charge nicad or any other type of battery
This compact battery charger is ideal for use on 6/12v car, motorcycle, motorhome, van, marine and lawnmower lead free batteries. It has a compact, robust design and features charge rate gauge to indicate when charging is complete. It is fitted with a standard uk 3 pin plug and has 13amp plug and crocodile clips for attaching to your battery. Choose Volts 6 or 12.
Connect the Red clamp to the "+" positive.
Connect the black clamp to the "-" negative.
Turn on power.
Voilà. :)

Thank you so much. But wanted to know how the battery itself charges. Does it lights up when plugged to electricity? e.g. is it red then turns green when fully charged?

On front of charger there is a small window display. It shows the status of battery:
Zero - half charged - or fully charged.
No lights, just look at the display window, you'll see when you're battery is fully charged.

Best leave battery charging overnight.
If the battery in a car isn't fully empty you can use the charger to jumpstart a car.
Red to ...+ (Positive)
Black to..- (minus)
Opt for 12v.
Turn on charger power.
Try to start engine.
Regardless of what or how you use the charger - or any charger:
Always attach the Red first.
Always detach the Red last.
Hope that helps, any other questions just ask :)

Tbh tho it's a great piece of kit.
I use it mostly for electrolysis, (removing rust from steel/iron etc)
12v times 8amps = a perfect 96watts of current flowing through the water & baking soda solution.
Ideal for restoration or restoring tools or simply bringing steel/iron back to how it came out of the cast.
Highly recommend for that alone should anyone be interested in trying out electrolysis.

I purchased one.. answer to all your questions is Yes! :)
In fact I run the 3 pin plug extension lead from the house/my garage socket's to the car engine bay, attach battery charger (without removing battery from car at all) connect leads & switch it on.
It'll fully charge a battery in a few hours.
