A possible impending house move has forced me into evaluating all the contents of my attic and some items will have to go, in my effort to downsize. I'm making progress but more items need to go!
I have quite the selection of Willow Pattern which I have collected over the years and used for buffets, afternoon teas, and for display on my kitchen dresser, but I have too much Willow Pattern for my needs so this can go!
For sale here is a Beautiful Antique Mid Large Willow Pattern Gravy Boat By A.J. Wilkinson's Royal Staffordshire Pottery Circa 1907 and measuring 8 inches/20 cm in length.
This is a beautiful example of an early willow pattern gravy boat, or sauce boat, with a fabulous angular handle.
The backstamp says Royal Staffordshire Pottery, Burslem, within banners with a lion and a crown. This dates the piece to circa 1907 or earlier, making it a genuine antique (over 100 years old).
A.J. Wilkinson Ltd, produced Royal Staffordshire Pottery from their factory in Burslem from 1886 until 1964.
The gravy/sauce boat is in very good antique condition, considering its great age, with no cracks, crazing or pattern loss. There is one flea-bite out of the rim in the middle as photographed. A piece that has been used as well as loved.
Perfect for special occasion use, but would also look fabulous as part of a display of Willow pattern on a kitchen dresser.
I have a small willow pattern dish in another ad which could be paired with this gravy boat to stop drips. See the final photo, and keep an eye out on my upcoming ads.
Keep a watch on my other Willow Pattern ads as I have various other willow pattern items of interest!!!
