Fabulous Arklow Pottery Yellow and Purple Primrose Floral Teapot with the AP Arklow Pottery, Made in the Republic of Ireland Backstamp

A possible impending house move has forced me into evaluating all the contents of my home and some items will have to go, in my effort to downsize. I'm making progress but more items need to go! I have so many teapots and I cannot keep them all. I have a number of Carrig Ware, Carrigaline, Arklow and other Irish Teapots, and I will only be keeping a few!

For sale here I have a Fabulous Arklow Pottery Yellow and Purple Primrose Floral Teapot with the AP Arklow Pottery, Made in the Republic of Ireland Backstamp

This is a beautiful teapot, and although I have only had it on display it was well used by the previous owner. It has quite some age and unfortunately somewhere along the line it got a chip on the rim. Fortunately though, this is hidden when the matching recessed lid is in place.

The teapot features a floral motif with blooms of Primrose in Purple and Yellow on both the front and the back of the pot, and on the lid also. It features the 1950’s AP Arklow Pottery, Made in the Republic of Ireland Backstamp.

The teapot is in used vintage condition but has no chips or cracks, apart from the chip on the rim as photographed. It has a slight manufacturing flaw on the handle as photographed. It does have some tea stained crazing on the inside. It is still fine for use though, as it is still water-tight. It is in the lovely older teapot shape with the recessed lid. The condition has been photographed and taken into account when pricing.
