Rare Antique C1887 Wedgwood Flow Blue "Rose and Jessamine" Plate
Description
Antique Victorian Wedgwood Pearl Ware "Rose and Jessamine" flow blue Collectors plate diam. 26 cm.
It has the impressed Wedgwood 1887' mark, and another mark in French language shows that this plate was produced for export. This mark indicates this Wedgwood plate was retailed by the "Anglo-French Shop" in Odessa (cosmopolitan Black Sea port city), a common practice for luxury goods exported to Russian Empire in the late 19th century.
The plate has minor crasing lines on front side surface consistent with age. Excellent antique condition, no chips, cracks or hairlines.
