Antique Bentwood Cafe Chair with Original Factory Label Art Nouveau circa 1900 to 1925

A beautiful genuine antique bentwood chair dating from the early 20th century, featuring an elegant double-loop backrest, original decorative embossed seat, and its original maker's label still attached underneath.

The label identifies the chair as being produced by Wünschelska Bentwood Furniture Factory (Fabryka Mebli Giętych WÜNSCHELSKA, Ładomęko), a specialist manufacturer of traditional steam-bent furniture. Original labelled examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

This chair has wonderful character and patina acquired over many decades and has not been over-restored or painted. The decorative Art Nouveau-inspired seat design, graceful bentwood curves and warm aged finish make it a striking decorative piece for a modern or period home.
