Alembic Distillate (1983)

Alembic Distillate bass, built in 83, short scale (32").
5 piece neck-through (maple and purpleheart I think), ebony fretboard, mahogony body, claro walnut top. Adjustable brass nut and bridge, 2 trussrods, active pickups with the standard distillate controls (volume, low pass filter, Q switch, bass boost, treble boost, pickup selector switch). All original parts apart from the casing of the neck pick-up. Had the brass truss rod cover off when I took pictures, I have that too.
Frets are scalloped from the 7th to the 24th fret, apparently a custom request when it was made, doesn't affect playing, just less contact between fingertips and the fretboard.
There was a repair job done on the headstock, looks like it split at the headstock/neck laminates. Previous owner said this repair was done around 5 years ago, the repair job looks excellent.
