Hi, The Takamine model is GN-20 Natural and believe it or not I bought it only a couple of week ago in Waltons....totally rubbish at guitar chords so no point in keeping it...will stick to acoustic bass....I also Have a lovely Hofner violin bass that I love...won't part with that.
Thanks for your interest.
Thanks for your interest.
Interested and am a lefty. Is it a Seymour Duncan quarter pounder you put in it? What did you upgrade the tuners to? Thanks.
Hi, Thanks for your interest. Yes I'm a lefty too....but play right handed tuning, which is why I had this Bass switched during upgrade.
The SD pick-ups are SPB-3's and they're open tuners that replaced the more mediocre tuners that were on it....don't have the brand name, but you are welcome to come around and inspect and play the the bass if you wish to follow up. I've gigged this bass plenty of times since the upgrade, it's perfect for live shows. I always bought the RH version of the AM Fenders but used this actually more often.
Cheers.
