The Epiphone Wildkat is a smooth 50s style guitar, delivering the classic tones of an archtop, with the high performance and reliability of a modern guitar. The Wildkat features a smaller, more lightweight body than other archtops, which makes it ideal for petite and younger players. The semi-hollow body is crafted with rich mahogany back and sides, as well as a mahogany centre block to achieve a full, rounded and resonant sound. The mahogany body is topped with flame maple, to create a 'Wildkat' appearance, as well as enhance the overall sound with brightness.
The Epiphone Wildkat is loaded with a pair of P-90 Dogear pickups, which produce powerful and vintage tones that suit the appearance. Vintage sound
The Epiphone Wildkat is loaded with a pair of Epiphone 'Dogear' P90 Pickups that produce a huge sound, which is powerful yet crisp. The P90's vintage tone matches the Wildkat's retro appearance perfectly, and they deliver clean, tight and rhythmic punch for classic rock tones. The Epiphone has a unique control configuration, including two volume controls for both pickups as well as a master tone and master volume.
Sculpted for perfection
The mahogany body gives the Wildkat a warm and resonant tone with great sustain, as well as plenty of depth. Mahogany delivers good levels of grind and bite, which works exceptionally well with punchy rock music. The mahogany body also provides durability, and a tone that will mature over the years for a long-lasting investment. The semi-hollow body features 2 'F' holes and a mahogany centre block, for a full-rounded and whole sound with good levels of resonance. The mahogany is also topped with flame maple, which not only provides stunning aesthetics, but it also extends the mahogany's tonal range with added brightness and twang.

This Epiphone Wildkat guitar features a SlimTaper 'D' profile maple neck with a pau ferro fingerboard to deliver warm yet bright tones. The maple provides a tight, roundness to the tone, providing bright characteristics and an excellent amount of sustain. The pau ferro offers sweetness to the tone, smoothing it out and furring up the harsh edges of the maple. The maple and pau ferro combination creates a sparkling, sizzling high-end, an open midrange with a snappy attack, and a thick, firm low-end.

With a Bigsby Archtop B70 Tremolo, the Epiphone Wildkat can create incredible pitch bends easily as well as a variety of effects to enhance your playing experience.
