Cast iron fireplace, stone hearth, cast iron surround. Bought for a room but decided to go with central heating instead. 4 foot high by 4 foot 4 inches at widest part of mantelpiece. Extremely heavy, will need to 2 people to lift it. Buyer will need a van to transport it.

How old is the fireplace. Is the fireplace made of one cast iron piece or more.Whatbare dimensions please.
@mellonhead29 hi, dimensions are in description. I have no idea how old it is, I bought it secondhand for a room but we had a change of plan. It has several sections. The hearth stone is a separate piece, there is a one piece iron surround around that. The central cast iron piece has a grate/fire front piece which is separate. The large surround/mantelpiece is one complete section.
