The Retro 50 is based on the original circuits of the old 'Pics Only' amps from the early 1970s - so it's very vintage-voiced and definitely a British EL34 classic-rocker, rather than being anywhere near the more modern high-gain metal Orange sound.
Switchable on the back from Class A/B 50 watts to Class A 30 watts.
One 16 ohm output and two 8 ohm.
This is just a single channel amp. Very simple controls - gain, treble, middle, bass and a master volume. A footswich can bypass the eq section for pure tone.
Very vintage bluesy, rock tone. It's really nice but kind of too big for me now and I'm going to buy a good small combo.
Here is a vid of a guy giving it a test run - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlcDOnR_DV0&ab_channel=JoePerkins
It's in perfect condition.
Also included is a custom built dublin flightcase for it. Cost a couple of hundred euro new. Has some paint on it.
