The Role

The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working within an accountancy practice.
Have relevant experience working with Big Red Book, Excel, Sage, Bright pay payroll and Microsoft Office or similar software packages.
Be capable of processing Payroll and VAT returns for various clients from different industry types and filing of returns to Revenue.
Be capable of producing accounts to Trial Balance stage.
Capable of VAT and Payroll reconciliation.
Working knowledge of ROS.

Hold a recognised accountancy qualification
Capable of working on their own initiative and as part of a team.
Be client focused
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be adaptable to changing workloads
Maintain a high level of accuracy
Enjoy working with many different clients from many different backgrounds
Demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines
Be proactive in adding value to the business
