As Field Service Engineer, you will be the Brand Ambassador and the face towards the customers, within the Munster and Connaught/West regions. Your main responsibility will be to provide best in class field service and support at customer sites and represent this pioneering brand. You will carry out repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment, acquisition of assignments, perform leakage testing and troubleshooting at customer sites. The ideal location for the successful applicant will be Tipperary or towards the West of Ireland.
Reporting to the Service Manager for Ireland, you will be empowered to make a difference whilst also given the support and opportunity to develop your skills.
Key responsibilities include the following:
Delivering the best service at customer locations - including all service activities from repairs through to leak testing, as well as preventative maintenance.
Proactively develop customer relationships and identifying business opportunities whilst being on site, so the company remains "First in mind-First in choice".
Providing technical support in the form of troubleshooting either by phone, e-mail or on site - keeping the customer informed at all times.
Sharing lessons learned to enhance personal knowledge, promote knowledge-sharing and to foster teamwork and collaboration amongst colleagues.
Work according to the company's safety guidelines - 100% safety 100% of the time.
Essential Requirements:
Advanced Certificate in a Science or Engineering related subject
Willing to travel to customer sites and to the workshop in Wexford
Ability to build strong relationships with customers
Comfortable with face to face interactions with customers and be service minded
Able to work autonomously with a solution focused mindset
Show initiative, agility and integrity - open and approachable
Customer oriented and reliable
Desired Requirements:
Bachelor University Degree (Level 7) preferable but not essential
Some professional experience as a Service Technician/Engineer ideally in vacuum technology desirable
Technical expertise, combining mechanical and electrical components
Technical and application knowledge, ability to constantly learn and develop
Excellent communication skills to work at all levels within an organisation
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of servicing and working with compressors, vacuum pumps, water pumps and have experience within the Pharmaceutical/Medical Devices/Industrial/Aeronautical/Vacuum/Bio-medical/food and packaging industries. An individual whom has the ability to work with service level agreements in terms of planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, breakdowns, monthly visits, call outs etc..
There is an attractive salary on offer for this position and salary will depend on experience

Standard working hours are from 09:00am to 5:00pm/17:00pm Monday to Friday, however, our client is open to hours such as 07:00am to 3:00pm/15:00pm - negotiable
