We are currently recruiting for a full-time Production Operator based in Ringsend, Dublin 4, for a highly successful and rapidly growing company in the building materials sector. This role is a permanent position with an immediate start. Along with monitoring and maintaining production performance and efficiency, you will work to meet quality standards for the specified product, minimizing off-specification product and maximizing throughput and equipment use.

• Operate the plant in a safe and efficient manner;
• Follow start-up and shutdown procedures;
• Set up and adjust plant parameters to meet production and quality targets;
• Record production parameters hourly;
• Routinely sample production products for quality target;
• Routinely inspect plant during running;
• Record and Report production issues;
• Monitor energy usage;
• Maintenance and upkeep of plant & machinery;
• Weighbridge duties;
• Machine driving.

• Mechanical or Electrical trade or experience desirable but not essential;
• Basic PC skills required;
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills;
• Health and safety conscious;
• Willingness to develop and learn.
• Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance record;
• Comfortable working on own Initiative and as part of the team.

The company operates 7 days a week in two shifts - 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. You need to be flexible to work both shifts, including weekends, alternating across day and night shift rotation.

€48,000 per annum (this includes shift allowance). The package includes access to the PRSA scheme, pension, death in service benefit, medical insurance and income protection.
