As part of the team, you will be responsible for generating posts, pitching creative and original ideas and scouring the web for visual and video content.

We are offering freelance opportunities for graduates who are enthusiastic about working in an online environment.

Main responsibilities:

* Reporting to the editor and staff writers and working as part of a team, you will be expected to follow assignments and assist with the production of posts on
* Writing - you'll be part of the unique editorial tone of, giving an offbeat take on the wide range of subjects we cover.
* You will research, capture and edit visual content to support stories.
* You will be expected to generate original posts and pitch fresh ideas on a daily basis.
* You will need to be interested in the tools online media provide.


* Excellent writing and proofreading skills as well as an ability to work to deadlines.
* Genuinely excellent attention to detail.
* Familiarity with social networking.
* Passionate about the world around you, with an eye for its lighter side.
* Strong visual judgement.
* Self-motivation and an ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
* Online writing experience is an advantage.
* A graduate qualification in journalism or a related degree.
