We are looking for a Chef Manager for a Fine Dining Event Venue in Dublin City Centre.

Salary: €42,000 (Increasing-€45,000 after 6 months)

Hours: Full time

Facility: Small Kitchen - Fine Dining Event Venue

About the position:

This role is where the Chef manger is the primary chef and responsible for using temp and agency chefs during high event seasons or increased capacity requirements

Deliver restaurant service food in a pre-show tight time-line whilst also ensuring that canapes and group catering is delivered on time and to the highest standards

Deliver 'restaurant food in a hour time slot' and also cater for the changes in the catering and party requirements

This is a small kitchen where the real emphasis is on quality covers and effective stock management due to limited storage where all food will need to be prepped before service

As this is a night venue work service runs up to 10pm at night and will involve the Chef Manager working occasional splits and most weeks on after-noon to evening regular shifts.

The ideal Chef will be a 'Foodie' with a real passion for fresh, funky and fun food

You will be an excellent team player and delegate thoroughly while maintaining overall kitchen management

An outgoing personality with a positive outlook on kitchen life, brand culture and philosophies which are core to this entire operation


Requirements:

Experience in high quality, tasty food

High standards of kitchen hygiene and health and safety protocols

Previously dealt with high volume production

Team focused attitude
