Early Sonic the Hedgehog Appearance!


Despero arrives in Manhattan and begins wreaking havoc across Times Square. The JLE respond to the emergency and begin fighting Despero. Also in attendance is Lobo. Lobo was hired by Lord Manga Khan to retrieve Despero and he intends on collecting on his bounty no matter what he has to do The Martian Manhunter asks Major Disaster to provide a diversion so they can keep Despero off his feet. However, Disaster's powers go out of control and he ends up nearly destroying midtown Manhattan. Back at JLE headquarters, Kilowog and L-Ron labor to find a means of stopping Despero.

On Kooey Kooey Kooey, the Extremist known as Dreamslayer has taken possession of Maxwell Lord's body. Max conspires with the leader of the Extremists, Lord Havok. Elsewhere on the island, the Silver Sorceress receives a psychic flash. She knows that Dreamslayer is preparing to make his move.
