Hi , here we have one of a pair of gefell mt71s's for sale.
Mic(s) are in absolutely excellent condition and lightly used.
Love the tone off these gefell's.
Every bit a Neumann and more.
Any test welcome.

The Microtech Gefell MT71S features original M7 capsule, fixed cardioid pattern, -10dB pad and bass roll-off switch. Transformerless output stage. Phantom powered, comes with deluxe wood case. Satin nickel finish.

These mics are extraordinary. Same capsule as the Neumann u47. Very similar to a u87 sonically. Super versatile. GLWS

What are you looking for? I’ve a a few bits and pieces.. (I’ve a U87, a umt70 and a UM70, but you can never have enough Gefells)

@Niallcork : Hi bud , sorry for the late reply,
had a u87ai here for a few years and sold it on. kept the gefells ... I ll eventually go for the older um70/mv692 at some stage just to have ..
I have other options for micing and have decided to let one of these geffels mt71s go.
Im not actually looking for anything studio related at the moment really..
Cash sale would be best as always..
But possibly a guitar or amp like a decent SG or old Marshall or Orange, something like that could maybe be wheel n' dealed with... what were you thinkin ?

I’m afraid I don’t have any of the kind of stuff that you’re looking for… But you are definitely on the right track with the older UM70. I definitely prefer it to the umt70, especially for vocals. Although then umt is great all rounder.. GLWS
