Very big bronze lion sculpture hand made in Cameroon.
Dimensions: H:28 cm L:48 cm" Weight: 7.450 kg

This bronze work is from the Western Grassfields in Cameroon. The lion represents royalty, power, protection and leadership. It is closely tied to the Fon (king), who is seen as strong and fearless like a lion. Bronze lions are often used in palace settings, placed on royal thrones, altars, or displayed during important ceremonies. The lion reinforces the king's authority and is a symbol of strength and unity.
Hand made figurine is in excellent condition. Not signed.
Pick up in the Cavan town or I can post it for 16 euro.
