Antique American Belleek china bowl

Rare antique American porcelain bowl made by Colombian art pottery (Morris and Willmore) in Trenton, New Jersey, United States. This rare 19th Century Belleek style porcelain bowl is made in the style of a chalice with silver colored metal rim (possibly Silver or silver plated. No marks.

This special little bowl is decorated with multi colored hand painted wild flowers all over. Gilding around the base finishes off this exquisite design.

Columbian Art pottery was set up by William Morris and Francis Willmore in Trenton, New Jersey, United States. The company was only in operation from 1893 to 1905. William Morris and Francis Willmore both worked at Ott & Brewer and Royal Worcester before starting their own pottery.

In good vintage condition. Some wear to the gilding and the metal rim. There is some tarnish to the silver plating which should remove easily if wanted, however some folks like the more aged look and so I will leave it up to yourself.
