Genuine Vintage Cast-Iron Coat Hooks with numbers - NOT reproduction

Vintage, genuine, malleable cast-iron coat hooks/hangers with numbers. Solid throughout and not hollow; unlike some cheap alternatives. Approx. 255g each.

These are USED/Pre-loved item from a school cloakroom and dated from ca. 1940 to ca. 1960.

Approx. dimensions (in inches) on pictures in ad.

Great for that final touch to an old cottage, period dwelling or other renovation job.

Supplied unpainted in original black colour.

Most have chipping and some surface rust commensurate with age and as all architectural salvage has. NOTE that those depicted in pics 4 and 5 have been painted in a dark-grey colour and are for demonstration purposes only.

Perhaps, paint them yourself any colour you wish. Maybe even a quirky row of different coloured ones!

Mount some on a piece of plained and edge-routed wood as an attractive coat hanger in the house!

One random number is supplied with each hook.

NOTE: Numbers are black on a white or cream background but there may be some fading and discoloration of both the number and the background commensurate with age. Also, some number backgrounds may be cracked and have small pieces missing.

I will always endeavour to pick the numbers/backgrounds that are in the best condition available for you.

I can send pics of numbers on WhatsApp before purchase.

Numbers are supplied randomly and not in sequence.

The hooks have two screw holes each (see photos) and can be mounted directly unto the wall or board using appropriate fixings; a pan-head screw will sit better on the hook face than a countersink one.

Be sensible and don't hang heavy items from the hooks.

Post/courier/collection. At time of writing (07 Jun. 2022) post and packing is 10 EUR with An Post to a maximum of 2kg. Each hook and number approx. 255g
