Description
Celtic Wolfhound - “Man’s Best Friend”.
The Irish Wolfhound was the hound of the kings and nobility of Ireland. They were used for hunting deer and wild boar. The wolfhound appears in ancient Irish manuscripts as a symbol of loyalty.
This beautiful cast bronze table lamp measures approximately 430 tall. The base is approximately 16.
The lamp is signed on the back. It's by Jeanne Rynhart, made in County Cork, Ireland, and has a Celtic knot design on two sides and a Celtic wolfhound knot design on the front. The lamp works fine. There is no shade.
