Moving house so selling some of my beautiful Persian rugs.
Beautiful Persian Bidjar rug measuring 170cm by 115cm, presented in very good vintage condition.
This finely hand-knotted piece exemplifies the renowned durability and density of Bidjar craftsmanship, often referred to as the "Iron Rug of Persia." Its design centres around a symmetrical medallion with a star-like floral motif, framed by ornate scrollwork and surrounded by a richly detailed field of repeating geometric and botanical patterns.

The colour palette is both bold and refined. A deep crimson red forms the foundation, enriched by accents of ivory and soft beige that highlight the medallion and border. Midnight blue and forest green thread through the floral elements, while touches of gold and black add depth and contrast. The result is a visually striking composition that balances warmth with elegance.
This rug has been well cared for, with vibrant colours, intact fringe, and an even pile. It is soft and clean, ready to enhance any interior space, whether layered over hardwood floors or placed as a statement piece in a study or sitting room.

Vintage rug in very good clean condition. Good floor pile all over. Clean condition.
Full fringes. Some light wear and some very light colour fading but this adds to character.
