Antique oak sewing cabinet 1920s

Beautiful 1920s sewing cabinet chest

Believe it to be oak

Size 26 3/4 inches high

Top 13 3/4 inches square

On casters for ease of movement

But also has 2 carry handles on the sides

Excellent condition for its age

The top is immaculate as it has always been kept covered

It has always been in the family

The top lifts and is secured by a brass chain

There is a lift out tray to hold small items

Under that there is a flap to lift with a tab to reveal a secret compartment .

Below that is a pull through drawer which can be accessed from either side of the cabinet

There is one small piece of beading missing

Price is 400 euros this is a very rare piece of history
