Specialized Secteur Road Bike

May I introduce you to the bike that led me into an existential problem with my other bikes.

Being used to Carbon frames already from more than a decade, have always looked for weight reduction, as I'm a big boy therefore the bike choice subsequently got influenced, even after a considerable personal weight reduction to whatever was possible.

There are about 4Kg of diff between this bike and my typical Carbon bike. The price difference, including all belts and whistles is around 8K€. So that is a difference of 2K€/kg to ride a Carbon bike compared to this one. Is that diff worth the price? depends... where are you riding, for what reason, therefore how? One more detail; chainring/cassette relationship - here we go with 3x chainring 50/39/30, plus a 32 cassette, what is the deal with climbs then?

If I could use an adjetive for this great bike that is "Sturdy". It is still basically a shop-room condition, it is the Aluminium version of the Roubaix and extremely smooth comfortable, runs great also because the elastomers are an incredible piece of technology provided the price tag. It feels brand new.

I got this bike for riding indoors training mainly, and rode outside few times. Now its mission is completed and I'd be looking to place it in a new home with somebody who would really appreciate its virtues.

- BB/Crankset compatibility info :The frame is equipped with an oversized PF30 shell, suitable for a press fit bottom bracket with 30mm axle. The bottom bracket shell is compatible, naturally enough, with Specialized’s own FACT chainsets, but also with SRAM BB30, and, if used with a cup bearing and an adaptor for a standard axle. with Shimano and Campagnolo.
