Fine Antique Dining Table
Victorian (c. 1850 to 1860) mahogany antique extendable dining table. Round/D ends featuring double molded edge. Perfectly functioning hand wound telescopic action operated by mahogany handle / brass action crank, which opens the table to incorporate an additional leaf to entend (which can be stored underneath when not in use). Sits on turned tapering and reeded legs with brass terminals and casters. Will seat 6 to 10 people depending on extension use. This table has an excellent original working mechanism with original crank handle and features exquisite legs. While neat in size and proportion it is wonderfully versatile to accommodate larger groups and will be a feature in any dining room.
