Redvertised due to a time waster

Porsche 944S with a huge folder of history going back to 1988!

Below is a summary of the advert description when I bought it 4 years ago. I’ve more details I can share, limited to 2000 chars on here.

If you’re looking at this then you probably already know how good the 944 is. It’s amongst the rarest of the line-up too – it was only made for 1 year and there’s currently only 98 on the road in the UK (https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/porsche_944_s ).

Parts described as “new” were fitted prior to my ownership in 2022 and had covered approximately 100 miles at the time.

Brakes:

* Brakes overhauled incl. discs, pads, rear calipers and rebuilt front calipers (new seals, bleed nipples and pistons)
* New brake pad wear indicators all round – brake pad warning light still illuminated
* New dust/backing plates all round
* New brake lines to rear

Suspension/steering:

* The ‘S’ has thicker anti-roll bars (ARB) as standard
* New poly bushes to front and rear ARBs
* New drop links and brackets to front and rear ARBs (all proper Porsche parts)
* New Bilstein rear shocks
* Front shocks need replaced
* Small power steering fluid drip

Engine/gearbox:

* Cylinder head rebuilt around 30k miles ago
* Compression tested with consistent readings across all cylinders
* No oil or coolant leaks
* New fuel lines front to back
* Inner driveshaft bolts replaced with correct Porsche bolts
* Engine pulls well through all gears with good oil pressure and temperature

Body/paint:

* Inner and outer sills plus floor pans professionally cut out and replaced with new metal, then epoxy sealed (£2k spend)
* Bodywork overall in good condition
* Passenger wing and top of windscreen have light rust
* Paintwork is average/presentable rather than concours
* Windscreen has small crack
* New washer motor and wipers
* New sunroof seal – car is watertight

Interior:

* Driver electric window switch, motor and regulator replaced
* Interior fan only works on setting 4
