brightkane asked a question 27/09/2011 9:20 pm (7 months ago):Hi, is this what I need for pumping to a thermo shower , from a hotpress to a bathroom on the same level?
meathmazdaman says 27/09/2011 11:41 pm (7 months ago):@brightkane:yes, you can pump to a shower head/heads on the same level or above the level of the pump no problem, i had it mounted on the same floor level as the shower and it worked perfect, p
brightkane placed offer 28/09/2011 7:15 am (7 months ago):€50 Offered
Can it be seen working? Offer 50 as I don't really need it but will mess around with it
meathmazdaman says 28/09/2011 11:12 pm (7 months ago):@brightkane:yes its working, sorry i will keep it for another job unless a get closer to asking price, its cheapo at that anyway as these cost over 250 euros new, p
brightkane asked a question 29/09/2011 10:39 am (7 months ago):no probs, thanks for coming back to me, seems would need a twin one for my tinkering anyways,
best of luck with sale
mad m asked a question 24/12/2011 2:48 pm (4 months ago):Would you know if this would suit a mains feed shower with just a cold water feed?
meathmazdaman says 27/12/2011 7:16 pm (4 months ago):@mad m:, no reason who not it will boost the pressure on any water feed hot or cold, ideal for the job you are considering so long as you use compression fittings to deal with the pressure ! Mmm
mad m asked a question 06/01/2012 3:41 pm (4 months ago):Hey, sorry for not getting back to you soon, was doing a bit of research about it....Most I could offer because Im taking a risk on it working would be 60euro....
Thanks
meathmazdaman says 06/01/2012 7:03 pm (4 months ago):@mad m: Thats ok, no delay at all, The pump is working fine and no risk if its plumbed in properly, these are really dependable, its a shame I could not take such a low offer, I will be installing a waste water collection system next summer so at your offer i would prefer to save it for that project as it will boost the supply from holding tanks for me for powerwashing the wife's car etc ! I leave it with you to decide, mmm
mad m asked a question 07/01/2012 3:17 am (4 months ago):Well thanks for that, but to be really honest its only to get a friend out of a problem with his shower...All the best. but if you change your mind let me know...Thanks....
meathmazdaman says 07/01/2012 7:11 pm (4 months ago):@mad m: No probs Thanks for your interest !
mad m asked a question 11/01/2012 1:25 pm (4 months ago):Well could throw another 10euro on top of the 60 I offered, if you could let it go for 70euro? Now thats somewhat nearer your asking price...
meathmazdaman says 11/01/2012 11:04 pm (4 months ago):@mad m: I understand, however as these pumps are very expensive new I will hold out for closer to the asking price on this occasion or otherwise I will use it myself for a different application next summer, Mmm
Allabaah asked a question 16/01/2012 4:56 pm (4 months ago):IS there a bypass on this? How old is it?
Allabaah.
meathmazdaman says 16/01/2012 7:34 pm (4 months ago):@Allabaah:As far as I know pump has internal pressure sensors which detect when the hot & cold water is turned on & starts the motor; there may also be a bypass loop between the 2 sides of the pump, which are pretty standard on these types of pump, It was used to boost a thermostatically controlled shower, taken out about 2 months or so ago and was used in our second home, think its 3 years old as the house was built in 2008
