offer 450 assuming it fits.

blimey, you dont half knock off some money. I know these go for alot and it literally has only had less than 20 miles on it. realistically, only about 10. To be fair I would need it closer to €500 to let it go.

Well, I know that a new 2007 model can be had for 1000 at a number of shops. And the shops usually offer some discount (about 10%) for year-old models. Also a purchased bike (whether used or not) loses 50% of it's value in one year.

The Trek 1000 2006 model can be had for 600 at Wheelworks after club discount. And you get a one-year warranty on that plus professional fitting. So if I have to spend 600 I might go for that.

I know you say it has not been ridden at all but I would like to take a look if possible. If it fits and we can come to an agreement on the price, I'm willing to pay cash on the spot.

Does it say 54cm on the seat tube? I believe that it should be the center-to-top measurement, correct?

Of course you are more than welcome to take a look.
It would be silly to get something without knowing it will fit. I am 6' tall and it is ok for me.

I know you say a bike loses 50% but I would not agree on that. €600 for a 1000 is different to a 1200 and there is not too much difference in spec. Please do take a look and we can see if we agree a price.

I will only be around this evening as I am going on holiday tomorrow. PM me a number and maybe we can sort something out for you to view it at mother in laws in Lucan while I am away if you cannot make this evening.

Ordered a trek 1000 this morning <img src="http://www.adverts.ie/images/sad.gif" alt="Sad" /> I might be able to cancel it and could then be interested.

Edit: too late to cancel now it seems, oh well
