*Update*
I'm now offering this with two options:
set up for timetrial/triathalon with ITM clip on aero bars and an Alpina wing tt carbon seatpost (as can now be seen in the pictures.)
-Or-
with the standard carbon seatpost and no clip on tri-bars.
Also have replaced the rear brake pads and bar tape. No bar tape in the pics but the bike will come with the new tape fitted.
Specs:
Trek 1000 SL 2006 56cm with following upgrades:
shimano 105 9speed sti levers
shimano Wh50 rear wheel, schwalbe tire
shimano 9speed cassette
shimano 105 breakset, plenty of life in the front pads, rear pads brand new.
shimano 105 chain(brand new)
shimano dura ace cables
Rigida Nova front wheel, continental tire
everything else as standard.

Alpina wing tt seat post BRAND NEW (worth €75 without postage)
ITM clip on aero bars.
As can be seen this is now a 9speed, perfect for training or for a beginner. Its a 56cm, so should fit anyone around 5'11".
With the clip on bars and aero seatpost this is perfect for triathlon/time trial.
Selling my road bike to fund parts for my mountain bikes. It has served me well and I've never had trouble with it. Bought it and upgraded the parts straight away. Mainly used for cross training, this is one of a few bikes I have and it has been sitting in the shed for the past few months due to college commitments so it's not received much use at all. Has the usual scuffs but nothing serious at all. Pictures can been seen by clicking the link below. Receipts of most parts available. No pedals included but I'll throw in a set of well worn BBB pedals to fit look delta cleats in the sale if required. I'm in Dublin and am happy to meet somewhere convenient for viewing if required. Spent a fair bit on upgrading this, looking for offers of around €650 with bars and seatpost or €550 without.

*NOTE- due to the aero profile of the alpina wing tt seatpost, it only goes down so far into the frame. Suits me fine at 5'11" but if you wanted this bike with tri set-up and are shorter then that then keep in mind that the seat post would probably make the bike to big but in that case I'll supply the original carbon seatpost and aero bars at an agreed price.*

Having done a complete check of the bike the rear break pads could do with replacing soon (€5) and if you're fussy it could do with new bar tape(€10). Thanks for the offers but at €420 I'd nearly be better off keeping it. I am willing to let her go for €535, or €550 with new rear brakepads and bartape. As you can see this from the pics this bike is perfect and I spent almost twice that on buying and upgrading it.

standard secondhand 2006 trek 1000s usually sell for between 350 and 450, and as you can see this has loads of upgrades which make it well worth the asking price.
