Description (updated on 21/02/2012 at 04:19pm):

• By 2015, more people will be accessing the web through their mobile phones than on desktops and laptops.
• RTE's mobile traffic has increased from 15% to 40% in the last 12 months.
• You're losing 30% of new business if your website is not mobile friendly.
• Over half of smartphone users access the internet daily

Are you using your mobile phone or tablet to view this now?

The websites I design are built in HTML5 and are designed and tested to be viewable on iPhones, iPads, Android and Windows phones, as well as Macs and PCs. Visit http://www.supplyanddemand.ie to see my online portfolio.

These days it makes much more sense to socialize and market your brand or business using Facebook and Twitter, rather than expecting people to visit your website for the latest news and updates. The modern website is mainly a business card or brochure that provides a landing page from search engines, offering contact details and information. How it looks reflects people's perception of your services.

A brochure website is perfect for those starting their own business, bands, clubs and charities, and anyone else that needs an online presence but doesn't require to manage their website's content.

I have been designing advertising material for businesses for over 20 years and am now creating bespoke brochure websites. As an Art Director I have worked for Lexus, IKEA, Coca Cola and many other global brands and multi-national advertising agencies.

I also support this service with logo and stationery design, brochures, banners etc.

I work and deliver to your budget whenever possible, so don't be shy!

how much is a website for selling toys online?

@Helen_McGovern: Sorry for the late reply! Have a look at http://www.owjo.com for a simple and 'free' way to quickly set up an online store. Be aware they take a higher % from each sale than usual in return for a much simpler setup (no gateways or merchant accounts), but they're Irish and great if your starting out.

I'd still recommend you have a dedicated landing page with your logo, details, about your products and contact information (the brochure part of your website) - which I would do. PM me if you're still interested.
