Cash asked a question 31/01/2008 3:17 pm (4 years ago):Hiy
How long have you owned this bike?
Have you all the paperwork since new? service history?
Is it Irish bike originally or imported?
Are the tyres good?
Anything you'd advise need servicing / fixing in near future?
Are the forks straight?
Ok enough questions! sorry!
Maybe interested in viewing, what region of Dublin are you for viewing?
Killgore Trout says 31/01/2008 4:16 pm (4 years ago):I bought the bike in May '04. Think i've done around 15000km tops. Reason i'm selling it is i cycle to work - and have a car and a smaller bike. and i've only used the Transalp about 5 times in the past year - I'd ratehr see it put to good use than sit in the shed - then i can get cheaper insurance on the small bike for the odd time i need it.
I have the registration paperwork and the original german paperwork. Service history? Fraid not - done the oil/filter and plugs myself three times. Previous owner did own servicing plus had a larger service done professionally. before that it was briefly owned soemone in Wicklow (it has a WW reg) and before that it was in Germany. Will dig out what docs i have on it tonight
Tyres have plenty on the rear and a reasonable amount on the front (can take photos if you like).
Could probably do with a drain/replace of the coolant at some stage.
Forks are straight.
Was planning on getting the saddle re-covered - but we can knock a bit off the price if you view before.
Oh yeah - has a centrestand too
Based in Donaghmede - north end of the M50
