shblob, not even my VFR750 starts first time/ every time!
The bike is running fine, takes a good few prods of the starter to get her going,once started, runs fine.
I bought this for the novelty, but did not have time to use it, anyway this bike is not suitable for adults weight (over 65kg)and perhaps in the last year due to too many mince pies, I might have just exceeded this weight limit a tiny bit.Just a bit, though.
It has only one gear, so no clutch, will do about 25mph (or a bit more downhill), has a speedo (which actually seems to read revs rather than speed which is why I added another bike speedo (calibrated by GPS)) and even though it has lights & Indicators, is not road legal, nor can it ever be, I know, I tried to insure it, they said it needed road tax to insure, and I couldnt get that cos Tax office said you need a frame number to tax a vechicle & there's no frame number, so its just for off road use only(wink wink nudge nudge)
Its good working order, but hasnt been ridden in ages, bar the occasional spin to keep it running, so is not absolutly mint, but it is in good condition. What do you expect for a paltry 150 yoyos anyway! It cost me about 450 euro at the time, I got it in the UK and brought it back in the boot of my car, the handlebars fold down and one person (albeit a strongish one ) can lift it in and out of a car boot.
I need to sell it as I have no room to store it.
