As im upgrading to a bigger bike, im selling my loved Suzuki Marauder.
Its a lovely bike and perfect for someone just staring to drive with bikes. Bike starts up perfectly, even after being idle for few months. never had any issues with engine.
Bikes comes with road tax, valid till June 2012.
It does have some rust, nothing major. I just installed new front brakes. Bike is kept indoors overnight.
There is some jobs what defo needs to be done on the bike:
Needs speedometer cable, probably a new choke cable.
Also back brakes needs to be adjusted (maybe new brake pads). the total of the cables and pads wont be more than 50 quid online.
Ignition is bit damaged, u wont start it with the screwdriver (the thieving btrds tried that), but it looks bit damaged as u can see from the pictures.
I have two sets of keys, working for all 3: ignition, fuel tank and seat lock.

Engine is in perfect condition, i have never had any problems with it since the day one. Just to tell you that the bike is in daily use, so still under roadtax, basically drive away. You can meet me to inspect the bike, no problem. Just let me know.

I am looking another bike at the moment, but like the cruiser. I know speed are usually about 60m/h can you tell me if it does get 70 or not (just for over taking reasons).
Could you pm or post closer pictures ? and would you provide a helmet (sorry sold mine last month)
If so I could consider up to €650 (I have to take the train from Galway)
Laasberg says 25/02/2012 8:39 am (2 months ago):@locteau: hi mate when we are talking about the speed, are we talking KM per H or miles per h, my bike usual speed is 60km/h and if i wana go faster, 85km per/h is no problem, but in the same time im quite heavy, so lets say if you are around 70-80 kg, it will go faster for sure. about the helmet, i have one, but its quite old and i wouldn't recommend it, buying a new one myself aswell. From 1st of March, Aldi will sell some biker gear, including helmets. Ill get more pictures up today.

Bike has log book and is even taxed till the end of June 2012. I will make better pictures and uploading them, i also will edit the description as im missing the speedometer cable and the back brake needs some adjustment, therefore, the price might be better too :)

All those works are easy DIY. So id say around 50 euros for it.
