We were issued with a hazard notice by bord gáis. There is a pipe in our fireplace which my son was messing with, caused a gas leak. We now need the following:
1. Repair the leak, switch off the flow to this pipe
2. Turn the gas back on and ensure everything is in order

I have a small job to install some fittings on the underside of sink taps as well as try to figure out why one toilet makes a large noise (might be trapped air) and the other has zero water pressure (takes a day to fill up for 1 flush). Hi I need to get a Glow-worm 18si Gas boiler serviced, can you give me a price (in cabinteely area).
I am also having an issue where the boiler loses pressure when hot (gests to 2.8 Bar) and the PRV opens. Then when cold it is at 0 Bar and has to be filled using the filling loop. I have done some investigation and it appears to be a problem with the expansion vessel or the tube going to it.

I have checked the vessel has air in it, so may just need to be re charged.

Just bought a 17 year old house in Lucan recently and had a lot of work done before moving in, including replacing the gas boiler.
Its a closed system.
Having to top up the system every 2-3 days because the pressure goes from 1.2 bar to nearly 0.5 bar every few days.
I can find any visible leaks around the house, have checked all pipes.
The PRV is ok, no water coming from that.
Need someone who can find and fix this problem, so if yer interested yerself, or know someone that is, maybe give me a shout please?

I was wondering if you could help me, i woke up yesterday to find my heating wasnt working. The boiler (Mynute 10se) was only serviced about two months ago and the pressure was about two bar.After checking the main fuse board i next checked the 24 hour control clock and i noticed the light was not coming on at all. I replaced the fuse this morning and the light came on, but the boiler is still not firing up, are the two issues linked or could it still be something with the boiler ? The boiler itself does now seem to be clicking on when i switch it on at the clock where as it wasn't yesterday but there is no pilot light and nothing else seems to be happening. Do you cover Ashbourne and when would you be free to take a look ?

1st issue:The Timer button moves and the light comes on but it does not heat the water.
The boost button works no problem so it is possible the main element has gone
2nd issue: The timer button moves but NO light comes on, and the water does not.
The boost button also works fine, however its possibly just a bulb issue.
