Hi, it looks in good condition but as I dont play I am not sure how much work it needs to be tuned. Its maple wood. There is slight damage to the side panel but you would n't notice it

Just to expand on the above. If you could please report on the following I'd appreciate it.

When you open the top lid, can you see the hammers (soft white parts that hit the string) clearly, or is there a wooden beam above them covering from the far left to just beyond the middle? So wood or no wood?

Do the strings look like they are crossing over eachother or do they look as if they are just going vertically down? If you open the bottom of the piano you will see this much easier. So overstrung (crossing eachother) or straight strung?

Is there an iron frame and is it above the tuning pins?

How old is the piano?

What make?

Are all keys working?

Has it been played much?

Are pedals working?

If you could answer the above as best as possible it would be great and if it's suitable perhaps we can arrange something further.

hi to the best of my limited knowledge answers below

Wooden beam across the hammers but you can see them

Strings are going vertically down

Tuning pins are attached to a flat metal frame

How old is the piano?- Not sure

What make- F.Hirsch and Co london

Are all keys working?-No

Has it been played much?Not in thelast 3 years

Are pedals working?- left is not sure about right

I would love to have this piano and it would have a good home where it was guaranteed to be used regularly by many talented musicians.

Hi is the piano still available, I would be very interested in taking it? I play the piano for the past 15 years and recently moved to Galway (Roscam area)as I will be living here for only a year I really did not want to buy one but I miss playing so much. Unfortunately I don't think that I would be able to organise transport, but I would pay a reasonable amount if you could arrange this.
