hey dude, just realised that ddr3 dims are 10 euro a dim from bay delivered..and i can get e6600 for 28-30ish delivered from bay too...its just that i want maximum out of my money when the ddr3 mobo costs the same in LGA775 package. i aint got a mobo too so will have to decide which way to go asap. any suggestions?

@banana_plug:Well with DDR3 you really dont see any preformance increase until you hit 1600mhz++ with good timings = $$$$, these modules had the tightest timings available for PC6400 @4-4-4-12 vs. 9-9-9-25 for DDR3.
Also this cpu is matched perfectly to the ram and preforms very well. if its used with a good motherboard which can hit a high FSB (ie.400) preformance figures a very good. A cheap skt775 motherboard should be easy to pick up.
(P.S these modules look sweet in any rig with the activity indicator L.E.D's!)
