Looking at the photos of the front of the camera it appears to be all scrapped around the lens. Is this the case or just the light reflection? If it is scrapped, is it just cosmetic damage?

no it just cosmetics it black paint around lenses because always keep in wife hand bag it work perfect and photo is perfect is weell in this model!
