anyway, don't think extended warranty is transferable as it's linked to your account
this camera was never in need of any service and well cared since day one
I'm a NPS member (Nikon Professional Services) and if anyone in future needs this camera serviced I should get preferred treatment

it was said that the grip shows signs of extreme wear, I've added a picture so you can see that there isn't such a wear
the material to make the grip on the D700 differs to the one on the consumer cameras and it has a shallow design, this one shows consistent texture in used and unused areas to prove wear is minimum

note, just realized the manual is in german language (never took it off the box until today), if needed I'll provide a complete print out of the english manual and its printable PDF

the original cable is with an european pplug, I've sourced one with an IE/UK plug which from now is included in the package

it was also mention that a scratch was found on the inner screen at the back, that wasn't more than an oily smudge which is now cleaned with a moist cloth (took me 30 seconds to do so)

afaik the only super wide angle that is 2.8 is the 14-24, but that one will cost you as much as this lens with the D700 camera here
I had it for a short loan and found myself shooting in f/5.6 or f/8 all the time anyway, even at 2.8 you won't get a shallow DOF with a SWA

the closest to 1800 is 1827 in amazon, but that is in pounds sterling which are roughly 1.3x to the euro

the lens is about 350 sterling used, I refute your observation, revisited price is what the last accepted (wasted) offer was as per adverts.ie rules

I'd be listing the camera on its own at that sort of money or accepting a good camera in part exchange if no one is interested on the deal of camera and lens before selling both for 1700
