Description (updated on 05/01/2012 at 04:34pm):
For sale is my trusty Ibanez RG 570EX. This was made in Japan (as opposed to the inferior korean made guitars) before the day of the Ibanez prestige models. It has 2 small blemishes, one at the tip of the headstock and one just under the neck pickup but apart from that she is tip top, never gigged and recently serviced. The neck is outstanding and is the best I've ever played on. It is metallic black in colour and when the light catches it, you will notice a very subtle off green colouring.
Serial Number: F0138248
Colour: Black Pearl
Body: Basswood
Neck: Maple with bubinga stripe with rosewood fretboard
Bridge: Licenced Floyd Rose LO-TRS tremolo system
Frets: 24 Jumbo frets
Neck profile: Super wizard
Selector: 5 way pickup selector
Controls: 1 volume and 1 tone
Pickups: V7, V8 and S1 (I have changed the bridge pickup to a Seymour Duncan JB 59 but still have the stock V8 which will be included)
Comes with official Ibanez hardcase (also excellent condition), the above JB59 and an A frame guitar stand. There is not much wriggle room on price here considering all you will be getting with it.
As usual all prospective buyers are welcome to come by to inspect and play it.
I am in Blanchardstown this Saturday (07.01.12) for all of you in Dublin that may be viewing.
All the best,
Pete

IbanezDaemon asked a question 19/01/2012 9:11 pm (4 months ago):Hi,
That guitar looks like an RG470 XLBP to me. It has the 27" scale neck (baritone). Pretty rare guitar if it is. The RG570 would have an Edge bridge not Lo TRS. Hope this helps. I can probably find you a link to the 470 XL if you need it.

Arkangel says 20/01/2012 9:20 am (4 months ago):@IbanezDaemon:Hi,
Good eye! Yes it is a baritone neck alright but it definitely has a lo-trs bridge and 99% certain its an ex.

IbanezDaemon asked a question 20/01/2012 9:42 am (4 months ago):Hi Pete,
Yeah has a LoTRS bridge like I said. Def an RG470XL. No RG570 ever came with a baritone neck or a Lo Trs Bridge. Here's your guitar in the 2001 Ibanez catalog:
http://www.ibanez.co.jp/anniversary/expansion.php?cat_id=249&now=8
RG570ex models have 25.5 scale neck, Lo Pro Edge bridge and Sharktooth inlays.
2001 RG570 ex models:

The RG470XL is a pretty rare guitar, you hardly ever see them popping up for sale. If that was the only one in Ireland i wouldn't be surprised.
Hope this helps Pete and Good luck with sale!!!
