Description (updated on 15/04/2011 at 10:31am):
Gorgeous EARLY 19th century Carved Oak Side Table. This oak table has a wonderfully rich dark patina (Never been waxed or re-polished).
The rectangular top has a single frieze full length drawer, raised on barley twist legs.
The table measures 120cm wide, 66cm depth and 75.5 height.
This table would look incredible in a large hall with a centre-piece, or, as I have been using it for the past 10 years - a beautiful office desk.
Purchased from Bonhams Auction House, London.

artfan asked a question 11/02/2011 12:04 pm (1 year ago):nice table, offer 200 or trade for one of my items?
neeb03 says 11/02/2011 7:07 pm (1 year ago):Thank you for your offer but looking for a straight sale, 200 is not enough. This table was bought for £795 sterling from Bonhams auction. That was the auction price, the retail price for this table would be at least 3 times that.
360euro is a bargain

Wibbs asked a question 08/03/2011 11:49 am (1 year ago):I might be interested neeb03. Do you have the receipt from the auction? Just that there was a carved oak/Jacobean revival in the 1910's, 20's and 30's and they're common enough from that time.
neeb03 says 08/03/2011 11:57 am (1 year ago):Hi Wibbs, no receipt I'm afraid. The table is 100% Early Victorian as I bought it as such from Bonhams. I had been buying from the Art dept. at the time and saw the table and had to have it. I have been working with the auctionhouses for many years.
Wibbs asked a question 08/03/2011 11:23 pm (1 year ago):Thanks for the info neeb03. Maybe it's better if I had a look up close. I'm pretty OK next week timewise. This weekend too. I'm in dublin so not exactly a million miles away. :)
neeb03 says 09/03/2011 4:44 pm (1 year ago):Hi Wibbs, that would be no problem. I'm free anytime that will suit you, Sat afternoon would be great. I'll send you a PM.
neeb03 says 21/03/2011 1:50 pm (1 year ago):Price drop to 310 !!!!!!!!! The most gorgeous table you will see.
